PrabhuDeva

PrabhuDeva is a actor, dancer and director.

Prabhu Deva (born 3 April 1973) is an Indian dance choreographer, film director, producer, and actor best known for his work in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu films. He has performed and designed a wide range of dancing genres over the course of his 32-year career, winning two National Film Awards for Best Choreography. He was given the Padma Shri in 2019 for his services to dance.

Prabhu Deva began his acting career in the 1990s and early 2000s, appearing in films such as Kadhalan (1994), Love Birds (1996), Minsara Kanavu (1997), and VIP (1997). Following critically lauded performances in the comedies Kaathala Kaathala (1998), Vanathai Pola (2000), and Pennin Manathai Thottu, he went on to star in the love dramas Pennin Manathai Thottu and Pennin Manath (2000)

Pennin Manathai Thottu (2000) and Alli Thandha Vaanam are romance dramas (2001). Deva’s box office value began to fall after he failed to replicate the popularity of his early films, and he went on to perform in Tamil supporting roles. He subsequently made his directorial debut with the Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana in 2005, and the film’s popularity led further requests for Deva as a filmmaker. Pokkiri (2007), Shankar Dada Zindabad (2007), Wanted (2009), Rowdy Rathore (2012), R… Rajkumar (2013), and Singh is Bliing (2013) were among his immensely profitable Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films (2015).
