Aakashavaani is a film that has been promoted a lot in the last few days. The film is streaming now on Sony Live and let’s see how it is.
The film is set in a remote forest where tribals live alone and have no knowledge of the outside world. They are ruled by a man named Dora (Vinay Varma), who manipulates the tribals for his own benefit. When a tribal child discovers a radio, everything changes. The music by Kala Bhairava was excellent, as was the film’s BGM. The camera department also does a good job of displaying realistic visuals. The editing in the first half could have been better. When it comes to the director, Ashwin’s style of taking is impressive. However, his narration is slow and monotonous in the first half. If he had worked on it, the film would have been even more interesting.
Overall, Aakashavaani is a forest drama with an interesting backdrop and good visuals. However, the film’s slow first half and dull star cast fail to hold the fort, making it a below-average watch this weekend.
