Aaradugula Bullet has been on the market for more than four years. The action drama has finally been released today, so let’s see how it goes.
Siva (Gopichand) is a careless young man who adores his family. But his father (Prakash Raj) despises Siva’s lack of direction in life. Siva falls in love with Nayana (Nayanthara), and just when everything appears to be going well, a dreaded don (Abhimanyu Singh) seizes Siva’s father’s land. The rest of the storey is about Siva fighting against all odds to save his property and win his father’s heart.
Gopichand is an excellent choice for the role and appears to be in his twenties. He performs admirably in all of his fights and has been well-represented by director B Gopal. Nayan is stunning and has a great chemistry with Gopichand.
Prakash Raj plays a pivotal role and delivers an emotionally charged performance. The storey of the father and son’s misunderstanding has been handled well. Also, the chemistry between Gopichand and Nayanthara appears to be strong.
The first half is jam-packed with passable romance, drama, and family drama. Along with Brahmanandam, the film features late actors MS Narayana and Jayaprakash Reddy, who provide decent comedy.
The film’s production values and camerawork are both satisfactory. Kanal Kannan’s action part is quite impressive, with well-composed fights. Mani Sharma’s music is good, and all of the songs look good on screen. In terms of the film’s director, B Gopal, he did an adequate job. In the second half, his narration lacks focus and bores the audience with routine narration.
Overall, Aaradugula Bullet is a standard action drama that works well in the first half. The second half is a toss-up of forced emotions. The film has some decent action scenes, but they don’t help the film in the end, making it a dull watch this weekend.
